1. “Anatomy of Nature”

In the video, I am playing with a mobile sculpture that I have constructed myself. This sculpture is an attempt to model the skeleton of nature – an underlying structure within nature.  The construction is very flexible and it can take different forms, it has endless possibilities, and while moving, it never gets back perfectly to its previous shapes. The volume of the sculpture is also various: it can grow and shrink, it has the possibility to be big and to be small. As the construction is moving, the distances between different points  of the sculpture can get bigger or smaller continuously but there is also plenty of space for surprises: different points of it, that are far from each other can in the very next moment touch each other and then get distant again as an analogue to nature where there is both space for continuous alterations as well as for dynamic changes.
